Waiting Staff – Casual & Upscale Dining

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and service-driven waiters and waitresses to become part of a prominent casual and upscale dining establishment in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, refined restaurant setting and will be dedicated to providing guests with outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests courteously and professionally.
• Introduce menus, clarify dishes, promote daily specials, and recommend beverages.
• Accurately record food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly, adhering to top-tier service standards.
• Ensure consistent guest satisfaction, addressing any issues immediately.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of menu items, including ingredients and allergens, as well as beverage options.
• Set up tables before service and clean and reset them swiftly after use.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar personnel to guarantee timely delivery of orders.
• Handle payment transactions efficiently and correctly.
• Keep the dining area clean and well-organized.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth restaurant operations each day.

Candidate Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a waiter or waitress in casual, upscale, or premium dining environments.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills.
• Positive demeanor, professional appearance, and a robust work ethic.
• Proven ability to perform efficiently under busy and fast-moving conditions.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage service best practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an asset.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic or other languages are advantageous.
• Experience working in GCC countries is preferred but not mandatory.
