About the Role
Join a respected multidisciplinary private practice committed to delivering top-quality, client-focused care to individuals of all ages. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in improving communication and swallowing functions in clients ranging from children to adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and design individualized treatment strategies for clients of different age groups.
- Implement evidence-based therapies targeting speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare experts, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to ensure holistic client care.
- Provide education to clients and their families about communication techniques and therapy goals.
- Accurately document client information and progress notes according to established protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and contribute to maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Possession of a recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia or its equivalent.
- Preferred experience with both adult and pediatric clients; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
