Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment along with related processes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Interpret and execute the production plan for assigned shifts.
- Manage both manual and automatic machines in compliance with established standards.
- Maintain process quality and productivity at all times.
- Implement 5S methodology to keep the workstation organized and efficient.
- Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Perform administrative duties including tracking and monitoring process metrics and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage PIMS and POMS systems to identify and act on negative trends effectively.
- Utilize QFRs according to established triggers for quality control.
- Contribute data and insights towards AB reports as required.
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace environment.
- Promote and participate in a culture emphasizing quality and food safety excellence, taking responsibility for systems and processes to meet the highest standards.
- Conduct autonomous maintenance and complete work orders diligently.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess an Engineering qualification.
- Hold an Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Completion of at least 9 months of on-the-job training and SKAP certification within 12 months for internal candidates.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in packaging within the FMCG sector.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP proficiency.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and good communication skills.
- Capability to work in shift patterns as required.
