About the Role
West Cirque Construction, a prominent residential and commercial general contractor, is on the lookout for an experienced Skilled Labourer to join a multifamily construction project in the Saskatoon area. This role demands a dedicated individual eager to contribute to a collaborative team and bring forward practical solutions to ensure the successful development of both commercial and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Comply with building codes and corporate safety policies across all sites
- Execute carpentry tasks not assigned to subcontractors
- Oversee and evaluate subcontractor performance on site
- Conduct touch-ups and fix deficiencies left by subcontractors
- Perform frame and mechanical inspections
- Carry out finish carpentry duties
- Manage quality inspections and prepare status reports
- Immediately communicate any site issues to the superintendent
- Utilize power tools proficiently, including air nailers, skill saws, and screw guns
- Mentor less experienced workers
- Fulfill any other duties as directed by the site foreman or superintendent
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in finish carpentry is advantageous
- Familiarity with equipment operation such as zoom boom or skid steer is an asset
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes and safety standards
- Organized, communicative with excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships on site
- Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and achieving results
- Attention to detail with a strong grasp of quality benchmarks
- Ability to work productively within a diverse, multifunctional team environment
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
