West Cirque Construction, a prominent residential and commercial general contractor, is on the lookout for an experienced Skilled Labourer to join a multifamily construction project in the Saskatoon area. Key Responsibilities

• Comply with building codes and corporate safety policies across all sites
• Execute carpentry tasks not assigned to subcontractors
• Oversee and evaluate subcontractor performance on site
• Conduct touch-ups and fix deficiencies left by subcontractors
• Perform frame and mechanical inspections
• Carry out finish carpentry duties
• Manage quality inspections and prepare status reports
• Immediately communicate any site issues to the superintendent
• Utilize power tools proficiently, including air nailers, skill saws, and screw guns
• Mentor less experienced workers
• Fulfill any other duties as directed by the site foreman or superintendent

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in finish carpentry is advantageous
• Familiarity with equipment operation such as zoom boom or skid steer is an asset
• Strong understanding of relevant building codes and safety standards
• Organized, communicative with excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships on site
• Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and achieving results
• Attention to detail with a strong grasp of quality benchmarks
• Ability to work productively within a diverse, multifunctional team environment
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
