About the Role
Join Capgemini as a Senior Test Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering key banking projects through hands-on leadership in testing. This fixed-term opportunity, based in Auckland or Wellington, lasts six months and involves governance and execution of testing across diverse digital and customer-facing banking platforms including mobile and internet banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own comprehensive test strategies, plans, scopes, schedules, and governance frameworks ensuring risk management and stakeholder approvals.
- Collaborate extensively with technology teams, vendors, project groups, and business units to synchronize testing workflows for project success.
- Provide expert support and guidance to business-led testing efforts by advising on resource allocation, test artifacts, and ensuring test scripts' effectiveness.
- Guarantee thorough test coverage of business processes, customer journeys, data migrations, integrations, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Oversee test execution, track quality metrics, manage defect resolution, report progress regularly, assess deployment readiness, and maintain compliance-ready testing documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in managing multiple concurrent testing streams within multifaceted delivery environments.
- Strong skills in test management including planning, documentation, defect oversight, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities to foster robust relationships across various teams.
- Highly organized with proactive work approach, adept at handling competing priorities in dynamic settings.
- Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, ownership, and results-driven mindset.
Preferred Knowledge
- Familiarity with digital payment channel origination and online banking systems.
- Experience in managing payment exception protocols within banking.
- Background in banking and financial services, especially in payments and digital platforms.
