Senior Technical Architect

Position Overview

Talents Tide is seeking a Senior Technical Architect with expertise in high-rise building projects to join a prominent client based in Dubai, UAE. This role demands a strong background in technical architectural coordination along with contracting experience, specifically within high-rise developments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver technical architectural support during every phase of project development.
• Thoroughly review and coordinate IFC, Technical Queries (TQ), Project Technical Clarifications (PTC), and contract documents.
• Oversee subcontractors' shop drawings and submissions of materials.
• Ensure all work complies with Dubai Municipality regulations and the Green Building code requirements.
• Facilitate coordination among Architecture, Structural, MEP, and other related disciplines.
• Address and resolve design and technical challenges before construction begins.
• Lead and supervise a team of architects, engineers, and drafting personnel.
• Manage coordination of engineering tasks with all subcontractors involved.
• Maintain registers for shop drawings and logs for material submissions.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveying and Commercial teams regarding design modifications and project variations.
• Uphold strict contractual compliance alongside technical coordination efforts.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least 8 years of practical contracting experience.
• Mandatory experience working within the UAE construction environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and Green Building standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing shop drawings and material submissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordination and contractual management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Working knowledge of BIM and Revit applications is necessary.
