Job description
Overview
Agoda, a global online travel platform and a part of Booking Holdings, is seeking an experienced Senior Security Operations Engineer for its Doha office. This role focuses on managing and enhancing enterprise security systems across endpoints, servers, networks, and secure access points, collaborating closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to boost security operations and automate critical functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and optimize CrowdStrike security measures for both user devices and servers, including policy definition and response playbook creation.
- Manage and support Zscaler solutions such as ZIA, ZDX, and ZPA, handling policy lifecycle, tunnel setups, application connectors, and user experience monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve network, VPN, and secure access connectivity challenges.
- Participate in security operations tasks including incident management and root cause investigations.
- Leverage APIs and scripting languages to automate routine processes, reporting, and system integrations.
- Implement security platform setups using Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, adhering to change control protocols.
- Apply generative AI technologies to streamline operational workflows, troubleshooting, and enhance team efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years working in security operations, endpoint/network security, or security engineering.
- Practical experience with CrowdStrike for endpoint and server environments.
- Proven expertise with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZDX, ZPA) or similar Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for enterprise-level network, VPN, and SASE issues.
- Comfortable with APIs, scripting, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent analytical and cross-team collaboration abilities.
