Job description

Position Overview

Kerman Contracting is actively looking for skilled Schedulers to be part of our on-site team based in Brentwood, Western Australia. This role involves crafting detailed project plans, tracking progress, and generating comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to support project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create project baseline schedules using Primavera P6, integrating tender specifications, drawings, client scheduling guidelines, and labour hour estimates
  • Identify and communicate project risks early to Project and Site Managers
  • Lead development of realistic, detailed schedules including milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource, and commodity allocations aligned with construction methods
  • Provide up-to-date progress data including Quantity Man-hour Reports and Earned Value Management to project managers
  • Produce extensive weekly and monthly progress reports for clients covering updates on baseline schedules, critical paths, future work forecasts, staffing histograms, and summaries
  • Collaborate proactively with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors to maintain and monitor accuracy of progress against plan

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or relevant trade qualification highly preferred
  • 3 to 5 years experience in project scheduling or related functions
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Navisworks or experience with modeling software is advantageous
  • Ability and willingness to acquire and maintain a National Police Clearance
