Job description
Position Overview
Kerman Contracting is actively looking for skilled Schedulers to be part of our on-site team based in Brentwood, Western Australia. This role involves crafting detailed project plans, tracking progress, and generating comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to support project success.

Key Responsibilities
- Create project baseline schedules using Primavera P6, integrating tender specifications, drawings, client scheduling guidelines, and labour hour estimates
- Identify and communicate project risks early to Project and Site Managers
- Lead development of realistic, detailed schedules including milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource, and commodity allocations aligned with construction methods
- Provide up-to-date progress data including Quantity Man-hour Reports and Earned Value Management to project managers
- Produce extensive weekly and monthly progress reports for clients covering updates on baseline schedules, critical paths, future work forecasts, staffing histograms, and summaries
- Collaborate proactively with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors to maintain and monitor accuracy of progress against plan
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Degree in engineering or relevant trade qualification highly preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience in project scheduling or related functions
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Navisworks or experience with modeling software is advantageous
- Ability and willingness to acquire and maintain a National Police Clearance
