Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for end-to-end engineering services based in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires presence onsite and involves frequent field visits.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new business by identifying prospects and securing new accounts within target industries like oil & gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing, and infrastructure, while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Craft and present customized technical proposals and commercial quotations for services including NDT, inspection, calibration, industrial testing, and training.
- Collaborate closely with operations, QA/QC, calibration, and training teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all work complies with client specifications and industry regulations.
- Manage client communications, coordinate site visits, respond to inquiries promptly, and aim to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Achieve or surpass yearly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Handle contract management including service agreement renewals, scheduling maintenance, and tracking training sessions.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years’ sales experience in industrial services, preferably within NDT, third-party inspection, calibration, testing, or technical training domains.
- Sound technical knowledge of NDT techniques, calibration procedures, industrial testing methods, and training practices.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing abilities.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred qualifications include possession of a valid Saudi driving license, practical experience with ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 accreditation standards, and knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
