Job Summary

We seek a Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater engineering projects from early design stages through construction support. Responsibilities include managing project scope, timeline, budget, and quality to ensure delivery of integrated treatment systems that align with client expectations and company standards. This role requires an on-site presence in Anaheim and benefits candidates with over five years of experience in engineering, utilities, or construction environments who are prepared to lead all phases of project delivery including proposal development, design review, procurement, subcontractor supervision, and construction assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead municipal and industrial water/wastewater engineering projects through preliminary and detailed engineering to construction phases by optimizing resources for quality deliverables.
• Ensure projects adhere strictly to schedule and budget while fulfilling client requirements and company quality benchmarks.
• Develop engineering proposals encompassing schedules, cost estimates, and scopes of work.
• Contribute to the engineering and design development of company products, systems, and equipment specifications.
• Evaluate design documentation created by engineers, subcontractors, and drafters for compliance with project scopes and quality standards.
• Compile and distribute status reports to clients and internal teams.
• Manage bid solicitation from subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and handle subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Identify deviations from plans and implement corrective or workaround solutions.
• Review and confirm completeness and consistency of plans and specifications.
• Implement document control policies meticulously.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams internally and coordinate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors externally throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and negotiate change orders; manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals as necessary.
• Perform occasional travel to project sites, manufacturing plants, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in engineering, utility, or construction sectors.
• Preferred knowledge and/or training in process and utility piping specifications and design.
• Basic understanding of structural design for concrete and steel tanks and structures is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is mandatory; experience with MS Project or similar scheduling software is advantageous.
• Familiarity with applicable water and wastewater industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines in a results-driven environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based on-site at the Anaheim, California headquarters. Daily activities occur in office settings and on various project or construction locations, requiring occasional travel.
