Project Manager

About the Role

Falcon Green is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for a full-time permanent position based in Tralee, County Kerry. This role involves overseeing civil engineering projects with ongoing assignments in the Kerry and Limerick/Munster areas. As part of one of Ireland's foremost civil engineering firms, you will be instrumental in ensuring project delivery aligns with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all onsite activities while upholding rigorous Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
• Coordinate and manage site operations to ensure projects meet scheduled timelines and contractual obligations.
• Supervise both commercial and operational aspects of daily site functions.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee managing direct labor teams as well as subcontractors.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team comprising engineering, commercial, planning, and Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental personnel.
• Manage material procurement processes and coordinate the supply chain effectively.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of experience in a similar project management role, preferably within utilities or civil projects.
• Familiarity with Public Works Contracts (PWC) is advantageous.
• An engineering qualification is preferable but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership ability paired with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient project management expertise supported by solid IT skills.
• Experience handling client relations throughout project life cycles, from inception to completion.
• Adeptness in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and negotiation to overcome project challenges.
