About the Role
Niagara Bottling is seeking dedicated Team Members to join us in delivering the highest quality and most affordable bottled water to our customers. As a Plant Sanitation Operator based in Lancaster, TX, you will work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where you can establish meaningful relationships and build a rewarding career. Primary Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation operations on production lines to uphold Niagara's strict safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Complete sanitation, quality, and production documentation accurately, conduct physical and visual inspections to prevent defective products, and report any sanitation or quality problems to team members and shift leaders.
- Carry out cleaning and sanitation procedures for the bottling facility according to company policies and maintain detailed records.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to sanitation, food safety, and product quality.
- Provide environmental oversight concerning sanitation processes and notify QA management of wastewater or discharge concerns.
- Follow company and plant safety protocols rigorously, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.
- Exhibit proficiency in working across various sanitation areas and resolving minor cleaning challenges.
- Maintain general cleanliness in production and assigned areas as directed by plant leadership.
- Ensure consistent and dependable attendance.
- Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 off, 3 days on) including day and night shifts, or as needed by production demands.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in sanitation or cleaning roles within beverage manufacturing (including aseptic, hot-fill, carbonated soft drinks) or bottled water production.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar sanitation operator role.
- Preferred candidates have 4 years' experience in field or similar manufacturing environments and 2 years’ supervisory or project management experience.
- Educational background: Minimum of a high school diploma, preferably in applied sciences, engineering, or a related field.
