About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily maintenance operations for injection molding, blow molding, and packaging machinery to ensure reliable and safe functionality.
  • Manage maintenance personnel activities by reviewing and approving preventative maintenance tasks and scheduling maintenance routines.
  • Build and lead skilled mechanical and preventative maintenance teams dedicated to maintaining production equipment efficiency and appropriate inventory of replacement parts.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for installation and project execution at the plant.
  • Collaborate internally to meet production deadlines.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff in partnership with HR, including addressing disciplinary and recruitment processes.
  • Lead safety initiatives, monitor compliance and promote a safe work environment.
  • Drive enhancements in production methods, equipment efficiencies, and product quality.
  • Recommend operational changes to improve workplace efficiency.
  • Resolve maintenance-related issues and assist team members in troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and downtime.
  • Prepare capital equipment proposals to improve quality, reduce costs, and shorten cycle times.
