Phlebotomist - Home Sample Collection

Job Overview

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to conduct blood sample collection from patients' homes as part of our healthcare services. This role requires performing blood draws using Vacutainer, conducting ECG tests when needed, and ensuring samples are accurately documented and transported to the lab promptly while adhering to hygiene and patient care standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Visit patient residences following a predefined schedule to collect samples.
• Perform safe and precise blood collection using Vacutainer tubes and other relevant procedures.
• Conduct ECG tests for patients as required.
• Label, barcode, and complete documentation for all collected samples diligently.
• Maintain the cold chain for samples and guarantee their timely delivery to the laboratory.
• Inform patients about test procedures and fasting guidelines when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification in DMLT or MLT is mandatory; candidates with B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications may also be considered.
• At least six months of experience conducting Vacutainer blood collection is essential.
• Previous experience in home-based sample collection is preferred.
• Possession of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license and a willingness to travel within assigned locations.

Compensation and Working Hours

• Guaranteed minimum of 185 sample collections per month.
• Compensation of Rs.150 per collection.
• Full-time working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; part-time hours are from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
