Job Responsibilities
- Thoroughly inspect residential properties to detect pest activity, damage, and possible entry points.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments such as pesticides, traps, and baits while following safety procedures.
- Advise customers on pest prevention strategies to minimize future infestations and maintain pest-free homes.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage appointments, assist with sales, and help expand the customer base.
- Maintain pest control equipment in good condition and ensure proper inventory levels.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to pest control and safety protocols.
- Drive and operate the company service vehicle safely; routine maintenance is provided.
- Perform duties in confined spaces and varied environments including basements, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work safely around animals, insects, chemicals, electrical currents, heights, and mechanical parts; proper training and PPE provided.
- Consistently use personal protective equipment such as OSHA-approved respirators.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
- Clean-shaven face to ensure proper fit of protective respirators.
- Valid driver's license from state of residence.
- Required certifications or licenses will be obtained and covered by the company.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, including weekends as needed.
- Eager to learn and develop expertise in all aspects of pest control.
- Good communication skills including reading, writing, and verbal abilities.
- Basic math competency to follow product mixing instructions.
- Customer service experience preferred.
