Role overview
A fashion executive is seeking a highly capable Personal Assistant / House Manager for a private residence in New York City. This role combines executive-style personal support with hands-on household management, requiring strong organization, discretion, and the ability to keep both the schedule and the home running smoothly.
Work schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with typical hours of about 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role also requires flexibility for occasional evenings and occasional weekends.
Compensation
Total compensation is $125,000, along with a healthcare stipend.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate calendars, appointments, travel plans, errands, shopping, reservations, and day-to-day logistics.
- Stay ahead of upcoming needs by preparing wardrobe items, accessories, meals, and event necessities in advance.
- Organize and care for an extensive wardrobe, including dry cleaning, tailoring, repairs, and overall order.
- Pack and unpack for regular travel, making sure clothing and personal belongings are ready and neatly arranged.
- Run household operations by overseeing the housekeeper, tracking inventories, arranging vendors and repairs, handling packages, and managing household supplies.
- Keep the residence orderly, well maintained, and prepared for guests at all times.
- Greet and assist visitors, prepare guest accommodations, and support meetings and entertaining at the home.
- Manage care for a small dog, including walks, grooming, and veterinary visits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in all matters.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant or House Manager.
- Strong familiarity with Manhattan lifestyle, logistics, and expectations.
- Excellent long-term professional references are required.
