Network Support Associate Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Network Support Associate Engineer to handle vital network functions within a dynamic setting involving multiple vendors. This position requires active participation in a 24x7 support cycle and working closely with various teams to ensure smooth network performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in round-the-clock operations support and participate in on-call duty rotations.
• Continuously monitor network status using Network Management System (NMS) tools and swiftly address any incidents.
• Assist in network migration efforts by configuring, testing, and performing cutovers.
• Identify and resolve faults in both legacy and active network infrastructures.
• Process service requests and implement changes according to defined protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Keep network documentation, diagrams, and related records up to date.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience working with IP/MPLS network environments.
• Solid understanding of routing protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP, alongside MPLS technologies.
• Practical expertise with equipment from multiple vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, and Juniper.
• Familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN services and network migration processes.
• Capability to support live network operations and execute intricate cutover procedures.
• Professional certification like CCNP or an equivalent is preferred.
