Role Overview
As a Junior PMO, you will assist project and program leads in complex SAP and transformation projects. Your work will be closely tied to project activities, taking ownership of clearly defined tasks, while gradually developing a comprehensive understanding of large IT programs. Beyond client projects, you will contribute to building and advancing 8knots with meaningful influence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project and program management across active client engagements.
- Maintain and enhance project plans, milestones, status reports, and decision-making documentation.
- Prepare and support project meetings, work sessions, and steering committees.
- Monitor risks, issues, and action items to ensure timely follow-up.
- Collaborate in subprojects with increasing independence.
- Manage individual workstreams with a view to assuming greater responsibilities over time.
Requirements
- Completed university degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Some initial professional experience in project management, IT, or consulting is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Interest in SAP and transformation projects; prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Organized and reliable work approach coupled with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to travel for projects roughly 25% of the time.
- Clear communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and eagerness to learn.
