About Stackgini

Stackgini is building AI agents that turn business ideas into real technology impact. The company focuses on helping enterprise IT teams move away from manual spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and reactive decision-making toward a self-governing, self-optimizing application landscape.

Large organizations often spend significant time handling demand intake, comparing software options, and managing application portfolios in a fragmented way. Stackgini addresses this by understanding enterprise application environments from the ground up, connecting individual demands with portfolio-wide dependencies, and supporting reasoning at scale. The platform is designed to help IT become a driver of innovation rather than a bottleneck.

The company already works with organizations such as Siemens Healthineers, REWE, and Grünenthal. With a team of around 10 people, Stackgini is growing quickly and is looking for early hires who will help shape the product, culture, and category.

Role Overview

Stackgini is looking for a Founding Product Designer & Researcher to help build a world-class product for customers navigating complex enterprise IT workflows. This role combines product design, interaction design, research, and close collaboration with customers and engineering.

Design & Product Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete product design workflow, including discovery, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, final UI, and EPIC definition for engineering.
  • Create AI-native product experiences such as guided workflows, generated content areas, AI result review patterns, and structured data views that simplify complex information.
  • Work directly with customers, Customer Success, and Engineering throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate with engineers to finalize specifications, document EPICs, hand over designs, and perform QA.
  • Shape the information architecture and navigation as the product expands.
  • Turn product strategy and roadmap priorities into practical design directions, and proactively suggest solutions instead of waiting for detailed briefs.
  • Establish and evolve Stackgini's design system.

User Research Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of user personas and their everyday needs.
  • Plan and conduct qualitative research, including user interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing, on a regular basis.
  • Go beyond surface feedback by synthesizing research into clear, actionable insights for the team.
  • Spot unmet needs and identify opportunities for new features or product improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of product design experience, with work samples showing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or workflow automation products.
  • End-to-end design experience from research and concept development through to polished, production-ready interfaces.
  • Advanced Figma capability, including component libraries, auto-layout, and design system work.
  • Strong preference for using AI tools to speed up work such as research synthesis, drafting copy, prototyping, and ideation.
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools like Lovable, Claude, Cursor, or Claude Code.
  • Experience designing human-AI interaction patterns, including prompting, review, correction, trust-building, and user control.
  • Comfort working in early-stage or 0-to-1 environments where decisions must be made with limited information.
  • Sharp interaction design thinking, with an emphasis on user flows rather than isolated screens.

Preferred Background

  • Experience designing compliance, risk, governance, or similarly high-stakes, information-dense B2B products.
  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments or the IT4IT ecosystem.
  • Background in fast-growing startups or similarly dynamic settings.
  • Awareness of accessibility requirements such as WCAG 2.1 AA and inclusive design practices.

Portfolio Submission

Applicants should include at least one example of their work, such as a Dribbble profile, portfolio site, screenshots, or videos of interfaces they have designed and delivered. A short 2–5 minute screen recording walking through a project from problem definition to shipped product is also acceptable, especially if it shows the design rationale.

If you have not worked in B2B SaaS, strong adjacent portfolio work can help demonstrate fit.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with employee stock options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • 30 days of vacation plus a day off on your birthday.
  • Modern office space in Berlin.
  • Self-improvement budget and additional perks.
  • Gympass access.
  • Deutschlandticket subscription.
  • Dedicated time for learning and innovation.
  • Quarterly team get-together events.
  • The best popcorn in town.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite role based in Berlin, Germany. The company is looking for someone who can make a major impact on both the product and the organization as it scales.
