Company Overview
TechBiz Global is collaborating with leading clients to deliver exceptional recruitment services. Currently, we are supporting a newly funded cybersecurity startup based in Berlin that is developing an AI-driven security risk management platform. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to be part of a pioneering team building the foundations of this innovative enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main operational partner to the Founder & CEO, contributing directly to the company's growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations including human resources, finance, administration, and internal workflows.
- Handle financial reporting, planning, and monitor core metrics to maintain transparency and reliability.
- Lead strategic projects such as designing an AI-powered pricing model and spearheading international expansion into three new countries.
- Support founders with strategic endeavors including relations with investors, board meeting preparation, and critical hiring decisions.
- Administrate CEO’s schedule, manage priorities, coordinate meetings, business travel, and follow-ups to enhance efficiency.
- Assist HR functions covering hiring logistics, onboarding, offboarding, and employee administration.
- Support finance activities including invoicing, expense management, payments, and liaising with external accountants.
- Manage public relations, communications, social media accounts, and coordinate external partnerships, vendors, and events.
- Assist sales teams by preparing internal reports, presentations, and various ad-hoc materials for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain operational order, ensure deadlines are met, and oversee compliance company-wide.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience in startups with roles spanning HR, finance, operations, PR, sales, business support, or executive assistance, although entry-level candidates with strong cultural fit are also welcome.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with a proactive attitude and skillful multitasking.
- Fluent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and German.
- High discretion, trust, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong execution focus and adaptability to operate under ambiguity.
- Comfortable direct interaction with founders and senior leaders.
- Ability to establish processes and structures in an early-stage startup environment.
- Ownership-driven approach, startup mentality, and agility in fast-paced settings.
- Experience within startup or scaling companies is preferred.
- Low ego with high dedication and enthusiasm for tech startups.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills.
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Familiarity with German employment law basics or EU labor regulations.
- Capable of working under supervision and willing to participate in business discussions.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Previous experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in early-stage founder-led startup companies.
- Exposure to public relations, communications, or employer branding initiatives.
- Design aptitude and familiarity with design software tools.
- Language proficiency beyond English and German, especially Russian or Hebrew.
- Experience in analytics or sales roles.
- Public speaking confidence and presentation skills.
- Interest in rock or metal music is a unique plus.
