About the Role

Tim Hortons in Truro, Nova Scotia is seeking a dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders accurately.
Package food items for take-out orders.
Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to established procedures.
Portion and wrap food items for serving or sale.
Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other service items to designated areas and set tables.
Maintain records of food quantities used for inventory management.
Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables using manual and electrical appliances.
Clean and sanitize the kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas like refrigerators and freezers.
Handle and store cleaning products safely and correctly.

Requirements

No specific degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Previous experience is not mandatory as training will be provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
Capacity to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
