About the Role
Join the Singapore Swimming Club as an IT Executive, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services supporting the Club’s dynamic community environment. Your expertise will help maintain both technology infrastructure and user satisfaction while supporting key operational systems like Northstar and POS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt IT support onsite and remotely to Club users.
- Manage and monitor IT assets including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Oversee IT components such as routers, switches, UPS, IP telephony, wireless access points, desktops, multifunction printers, audiovisual equipment, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Conduct regular IT and network security and firewall assessments daily, with additional checks monthly and quarterly.
- Assist with deploying and implementing both on-premises and cloud-based systems alongside the IT team.
- Maintain servers, storage solutions, virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and oversee backup and disaster recovery practices.
- Administer user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint, including VPN and organizational unit management.
- Manage Microsoft 365 Exchange email accounts and distribution lists.
- Develop and support automation workflows leveraging Microsoft Power Automate, PowerShell, and batch scripting to optimize IT operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues, handling installations, patches, and system upgrades.
- Update and manage POS menus, terminals, and related configuration settings.
- Keep detailed documentation and audit logs for IT activities where necessary.
- Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by department heads or management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Computing or related discipline required.
- At least 2 years of recent experience with a focus on IT infrastructure, systems, and network management.
- Experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong expertise in system and network administration.
- Leadership experience is not a requirement.
