Role Overview

The Equity Research Intern will support research functions by gathering and analyzing data related to companies and industries. This position, designed for post-graduate candidates, provides hands-on experience through assisting associates and analysts with their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, consolidate, and analyze data on companies and industry sectors.
• Develop and update financial models, databases, and market monitoring tools.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, briefs, and notes.
• Respond to information requests and maintain effective communication channels.
• Provide administrative assistance as needed.
• Input data into proprietary financial models to support charts, dashboards, and related materials.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualities

• Strong analytical abilities and a solid grasp of financial and accounting principles.
• Effective oral communication skills with clear expression of ideas.
• Proficient written communication, capable of producing clear and concise content rapidly and accurately.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as internet research and relevant software applications.
• Self-driven, well-organized, meticulous, and adaptable to flexible work hours.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite at the Newport Beach, California office.
• Applicant must be a post-graduate candidate.

Compensation and Other Information
