Role Overview
The Equity Research Intern will support research functions by gathering and analyzing data related to companies and industries. This position, designed for post-graduate candidates, provides hands-on experience through assisting associates and analysts with their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze data on companies and industry sectors.
- Develop and update financial models, databases, and market monitoring tools.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports, briefs, and notes.
- Respond to information requests and maintain effective communication channels.
- Provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Input data into proprietary financial models to support charts, dashboards, and related materials.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualities
- Strong analytical abilities and a solid grasp of financial and accounting principles.
- Effective oral communication skills with clear expression of ideas.
- Proficient written communication, capable of producing clear and concise content rapidly and accurately.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as internet research and relevant software applications.
- Self-driven, well-organized, meticulous, and adaptable to flexible work hours.

- Must be able to work onsite at the Newport Beach, California office.
