Role Overview
An international pharmaceutical leader seeks an EHSS Specialist for a 12-month contract based in Roscommon, Ireland. This role supports onsite project safety management focused on maintaining rigorous health and safety protocols within their life sciences operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with executing and upholding the site's Health and Safety Management System.
- Perform regular workplace inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure safety standards.
- Coordinate risk evaluations and oversee the application of recommended corrective measures.
- Manage permit-to-work requirements and supervise contractor safety processes.
- Track adherence to relevant health and safety laws and company policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial EHSS background within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly regulated manufacturing sectors.
- Academic degree in Occupational, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Certified professional qualification in Health & Safety.
- Familiarity with Irish Health and Safety legislation.
