Role overview

Vestas is looking for a Dispatcher to join its global Capacity & Master Planning function, with the role focused on coordinating offshore site support across different regions worldwide.

What you will do

• Review incoming service orders, prepare them for execution, and carry out technical approval once the work has been completed.
• Plan, balance, and allocate assignments within the assigned area so the right work is matched to the right conditions, including weather and available skills.
• Work with supervisors to determine what each service order needs, such as the required competencies, materials, and tools.
• Group related work orders together and improve how they are organized to make execution more efficient.
• Stay in regular contact with technicians, technical support teams, and customers throughout the day.
• Look for ways to improve processes proactively and contribute to both short-term and long-term planning of future work.

What you bring

• Background in technical planning or dispatching, preferably gained in a technical setting.
• Strong computer literacy; experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of wind turbine generator technology and interest in reviewing technical documentation.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Organized, practical, and solution-focused way of working.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in time-pressured situations with changing priorities and workload.
• Comfort working in a busy environment with many parallel tasks and seasonal peaks, while supporting a team-based approach.
