About the Role

As a Delivery and Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, installation, and demonstration of merchandise to customers. This dynamic, non-desk role involves working both indoors and outdoors, interacting with customers, and supporting store operations. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to connect with people in the community.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and protect merchandise for transport.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle.
• Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers, ensuring they understand its use.
• Provide support to the store by assisting with moving, installing, and picking up merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Requirements

• Strong communication abilities.
• Familiarity with electronics and their operation.
• A genuine desire to assist customers and provide excellent service.
• Must be at least 18 years old (in Canada).
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must meet DOT certification requirements (U.S.).
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
• Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• No overnight travel is required.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Employment is subject to an initial probationary period of three months to assess suitability.
