Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in Kamloops, British Columbia. This position requires the employee to work onsite at our restaurant location.
Language and Education Requirements

- Possession of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
Candidates should have between 1 and 2 years of relevant cooking experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate food portion sizes and calculate costing
- Plan menus and estimate required food quantities
- Prepare and cook full meals as well as individual dishes
- Prepare specialized meals for patients following dietitian or chef instructions
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling
- Order kitchen supplies and equipment as needed
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain detailed inventory and records of food supplies and equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Manage overall kitchen operations efficiently
