Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Area Sales Executive to join Britannia Industries Limited at our Dhanbad, Jharkhand location. The role requires an MBA or postgraduate degree, coupled with 2 to 6 years of experience, preferably within institutional, out-of-home (OOH), or emerging sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets consistently through strategic planning.
- Create and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly growth and operational plans for national chain accounts.
- Set monthly objectives and draft detailed annual business plans for key customers.
- Regularly monitor performance metrics, review outcomes, and offer necessary support to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate closely with institutional and regional teams to align company plans with OOH objectives.
- Support head office in planning expansion and retraction strategies for channel development.
- Negotiate pricing, finalize terms of trade, ensure SKU and brand availability, and build pipelines for potential business.
- Identify new growth channels and opportunities within existing accounts and implement customer engagement strategies.
- Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product launches, reintroductions, and priority SKUs to drive profitability.
- Guarantee optimal brand presence including brand width and depth across sub-channels and deploy impactful visual identity (VI) and consumer promotions.
- Introduce reward and recognition initiatives to boost channel motivation and sales performance.
- Plan and manage budgets for trade marketing activities ensuring compliance with financial and commercial policies.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new business or activation opportunities.
- Ensure exceptional point-of-sale execution and customer management with timely TOT agreements and compliance.
- Coordinate with multiple commercial, planning, and HR teams regionally and nationally to maintain operational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree required.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in institutional/OOH or emerging channels preferred.
