GlobalMessaging, operating through ACG BBQ, LLC—the largest licensed franchise of Sonny's BBQ with 30 restaurants across multiple states—is seeking a dedicated Area Director to oversee multiple markets. This position begins as a traveling leadership role focusing on supporting restaurants, fostering strong team connections, and mastering operational standards. The role is designed to evolve into a permanent market placement, with the possibility of relocating as the company expands by up to 8 new locations over the next five years. Key Responsibilities

Oversee operational standards and performance across restaurants in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
Manage financial goals including sales, profits, and ensuring achievement of budgeted EBITDA.
Lead and coach General Managers to ensure successful team performance and operations.
Provide hands-on training and development opportunities to team members and leadership.
Perform strategic analysis and participate in company-wide communications to align objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Develop strong, approachable relationships that foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Conduct regular market visits ensuring operational standards are met, spending approximately 75% of time in restaurants.
Host meetings with operations teams and address employee concerns with Human Resources promptly.
Hire, train, and coach General Managers, ensuring management positions are staffed with capable leaders and achieving stability and turnover goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a safe, healthy work environment minimizing injuries.

Experience in developing detailed restaurant budgets annually and working alongside marketing teams to devise sales strategies to compete effectively.
Proven financial acumen and experience analyzing company performance to implement improvement strategies.
Strong leadership skills demonstrated across multiple locations with the ability to manage and develop teams.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and executive presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various restaurant technology platforms.
Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions and effectively manage remote teams.

Benefits & Compensation

Annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000 depending on experience, state, and market.
