Role Overview

The Adventure Park Technician is tasked with ensuring the safe operation, regular inspection, upkeep, and repair of all equipment and facilities within the adventure park. This includes maintaining ropes courses, zip lines, climbing walls, harnesses, belay systems, and other related technical gear following safety protocols, manufacturing instructions, and company standards. The position plays a critical role in delivering a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough daily inspections before opening of all adventure park equipment and attractions.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on ropes courses, zip lines, climbing structures, harnesses, helmets, and belay devices.
• Inspect structural elements such as cables, platforms, anchors, pulleys, braking and safety systems for integrity and functionality.
• Complete repairs and replace any damaged or worn parts promptly.
• Maintain detailed records for maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment servicing.
• Ensure compliance with all internal safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry benchmarks.
• Report promptly any safety risks, equipment faults, or maintenance needs.
• Assist with scheduled annual inspections and external third-party safety audits.
• Support emergency procedures and participate in technical rescue operations when necessary.
• Oversee the upkeep of workshop tools, inventory of spare parts, and related maintenance equipment.
• Collaborate with operations teams to reduce equipment downtime while prioritizing safety.
• Keep all working areas clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
• Engage in ongoing technical and safety training sessions.
• Aid in setting up and commissioning new adventure park attractions and devices.
• Perform additional related tasks as directed by management.
