Role Description
The Account Manager will be a critical liaison for clients, managing relationships and overseeing campaign execution to help clients leverage podcast advertising as a valuable growth avenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for assigned clients, building sustained strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with clients to clarify advertising goals, strategize campaign objectives, and recommend podcast advertising solutions.
- Craft media recommendations and strategic plans to expand podcast advertising as an effective performance channel.
- Manage full campaign lifecycles including setup, optimization, and performance review.
- Establish and maintain relationships with podcast networks and publishers to secure high-quality advertising placements.
- Track campaign outcomes, provide analysis and insights to enhance future campaigns.
- Generate and present regular campaign performance reports detailing ROI to clients.
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts and promote additional advertising services or packages.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging podcast platforms to advise clients and teams strategically.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum three years of account management experience, ideally in digital advertising or media.
- Experience in podcast advertising is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising metrics and data analysis to optimize campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities to clearly articulate ideas and results to clients.
- Great organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
- Adaptable and able to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs), Slack, Asana, and AI tools is advantageous.
- A passion for podcasts and digital media, coupled with an interest in innovative advertising methods.
