Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned, proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse functions and inventory management activities. This pivotal role is essential in maintaining precise stock control, managing the efficient receipt and dispatch of goods, fostering collaboration with Purchasing and Quality departments, and driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations. The chosen candidate will be integral in minimizing waste, boosting inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth manufacturing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations including receipt, inspection, storage, tracking, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation and supervise cycle counts, stock taking procedures, and reconciliation processes.
- Design and manage warehouse layout, stock placement, and labelling protocols to enhance operational efficiency and product traceability.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing to monitor inventory levels, assist in forecasting demand, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Operate forklift machinery safely and adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Organize and control packaging and dispatch tasks to guarantee correct and punctual deliveries to customers.
- Work alongside the Quality team to oversee incoming inspections, handle non-conforming and quarantined stock, and perform outgoing goods verification.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce material wastage, optimize stock usage, and improve overall warehouse performance.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Stores Manager, or in a related inventory management position.
- Current forklift license/certification or willingness to acquire one.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze inventory data and generate detailed reports.
- Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP, or warehouse management software.
- Strong communication abilities and capability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams.
Work Arrangement
This position requires full on-site presence at the Dungarvan, County Waterford location.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary offered ranges from €29,432 to €52,000 annually.
