About the Role

An international law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal to join their expanding office located in midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in handling complex commercial litigation matters within both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and maintain comprehensive case files.
Prepare and draft various litigation documents.
Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies.
Assist with both physical and electronic discovery processes.
Contribute to trial preparations and provide support to attorneys during trials as necessary.
Support appellate procedures and tasks related to appeals.
Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the legal team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Possession of a bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a commercial litigation paralegal working on complex cases.
Prior exposure to New York State and Federal Courts is essential.
Recent substantial trial experience within large law firms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

Compensation and Additional Information

Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $150,000 annually, based on expertise.
Benefits package includes healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and 401(k) plan.
Work schedule follows a hybrid model: three days in the office and two days working remotely per week.
Flexibility to work overtime and travel when required.
