Role overview
The Telephone Interviewer is responsible for gathering information from caregivers who are receiving services such as MST. In this role, you will serve as a representative of ABH and its services, maintaining a professional, respectful, and service-oriented approach while following the organization’s established standards, policies, and best practices. The position also requires Spanish/English bilingual ability.
Key duties
- Keep assigned client call records current, including enrollment details, primary caregiver contact information, and preferred calling times.
- Carry out surveys using accepted interviewing methods.
- Record survey responses online or enter data manually after each survey is completed.
- Support caregivers, providers, MST Institute representatives, DCF and CSSD representatives, and other stakeholders with questions related to data collection or survey administration.
- Prepare reports when needed.
- Answer and manage calls on the dedicated toll-free TAM phone line.
- Protect confidential client health information and follow all HIPAA-related rules and procedures.
- Show ethical conduct and cultural awareness when working with people from different backgrounds.
- Handle additional duties as needed to help business operations run smoothly.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative work is required.
- Annual Conflict of Interest training must be attended.
- Spanish and English bilingual ability is required.
