Technical Recruiter

Overview

Tesla seeks a highly skilled Technical Recruiter to aid in acquiring talent for engineering and technical teams. This position partners closely with hiring managers across software, hardware, AI, manufacturing engineering, facilities, infrastructure, and materials divisions to secure top-tier candidates that contribute to pioneering product development and manufacturing automation aimed at advancing Tesla's mission. This role is stationed in Palo Alto, CA, with possible openings in Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to determine talent needs and develop effective hiring strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Create and sustain diverse and quality pipelines of qualified technical professionals through innovative sourcing methods and multi-channel recruitment.
• Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating recruitment efforts, and assisting with offers.
• Efficiently juggle multiple open requisitions concurrently while providing consistent progress updates to stakeholders.
• Forge and maintain effective relationships with internal recruiters, sourcers, managers, and leadership teams.
• Keep abreast of evolving recruitment methodologies, tools, and workflows in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience conducting full-cycle technical recruitment or sourcing in agency or corporate settings.
• Proven experience recruiting for engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, facilities, or similarly technical roles.
• Ability to manage multiple technical job requisitions in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Track record of successfully sourcing and evaluating both active and passive candidates in competitive markets.
• Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Adept at working under pressure with a sense of urgency while balancing quality and efficiency.
