Overview
Global Connect Technologies is hiring a Team Lead for US IT Staffing in Mohali. This full-time, on-site role is suited to someone who enjoys identifying strong talent, guiding a recruitment team, and performing effectively in a busy, high-volume environment. The position calls for 3–5 years of experience in US IT recruitment.
Key responsibilities
- Guide and assist the recruitment team so hiring targets are met with quality outcomes.
- Hire IT and non-IT candidates for both contract and permanent openings.
- Search for suitable talent through platforms such as LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, Monster, and similar sourcing channels.
- Review profiles, carry out first-round interviews, and arrange client-level interviews.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pool of qualified candidates for ongoing requirements.
- Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to fulfill client staffing needs.
- Make sure candidates have a smooth and positive experience throughout the hiring process.
What the employer is looking for
- 3–5 years of practical experience in US IT staffing or recruitment.
- Strong sourcing capability, including advanced Boolean search methods.
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Java, .NET, Full Stack, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, QA, SAP, and related areas.
- Understanding of US work authorization categories including H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, and EAD.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
- Prior experience leading a team is considered an advantage.
