Role Overview
The Supply Chain Specialist position is a full-time, onsite role based in Benin City. The incumbent will oversee comprehensive supply chain activities such as demand forecasting, procurement assistance, vendor liaison, and ensuring punctual delivery of goods and materials. Responsibilities include managing inventory, monitoring stock movements, maintaining precise records in relevant systems, and analyzing supply chain data to uncover bottlenecks and suggest process enhancements to promote operational efficiency across all subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning and procurement support.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of materials and products.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee stock movements accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation within ERP or inventory management systems.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare regular reports detailing supply performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with relevant local regulations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management.
- Strong operations management and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Experience working within multi-industry groups, especially in African markets, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent data analysis tools, along with familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
- Ability to perform accurately under pressure, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adjust to changing business demands.
