Position Overview

Orlando Health's Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Document Coordinator to join their supply chain operations team full-time. This position plays an important role in ensuring that hospital departments receive their necessary supplies promptly and accurately, directly impacting patient care quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, verifying, and inspecting inbound shipments against shipping documentation
  • Coordinating dock activities and serving as the initial contact for carriers
  • Preparing outgoing shipments, managing returns, and handling repair materials
  • Ensuring precise labeling, documentation, and processing of purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate supply chain data within system platforms
  • Working closely with Purchasing and Clinical Engineering teams to address equipment and supply demands
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to shipping discrepancies and damaged goods
  • Supporting the efficient distribution of critical supplies throughout hospital departments

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or supply chain roles
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Effective communication skills are preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or dock equipment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software is also preferred
