Role overview

We are looking for a Store Cleaner to help maintain a tidy, safe and customer-friendly shop environment in Mullingar, County Westmeath. This role supports the store’s day-to-day presentation by handling routine cleaning tasks, keeping customer areas orderly and helping ensure the store meets high standards at all times.

Key responsibilities

Deliver courteous and professional service to customers while working on the shop floor.
Keep walkways and aisles free from clutter so shoppers can move around safely.
Carry out general cleaning duties that support the store’s cleanliness, safety and overall appearance.
Remove litter around the store premises.
Clean windows to maintain a neat and presentable store front.
Ensure trolleys are organised, tidy and ready for customer use.
Work with the team to uphold Aldi’s high standards every day.

Skills and experience

A positive attitude is important; prior cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.
You should be dependable and comfortable working as part of a team.
A friendly, approachable manner is needed when interacting with customers.
You must be able to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Strong organisation is required to follow a detailed cleaning routine.
