Job Overview

This role provides an exceptional opportunity for accounting professionals to transition into a Special Agent position within the FBI. Responsibilities

• Lead and perform investigations into potential breaches of federal statutes, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety risks.
• Apply sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility to meet the evolving demands of investigations.
• Establish and sustain productive partnerships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement bodies.
• Maintain physical fitness levels necessary to fulfill rigorous law enforcement responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
• Ability to satisfy the FBI’s employment eligibility standards.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably in accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.
• Submission of official college transcripts to verify educational qualifications.

Additional Information

This position is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze. The salary range offered spans from $93,749 to $133,200, varying based on base salary, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
