Role Overview
As a core member of our early-stage Solutions Engineering team within the Notion sales organization, you will work closely with sales colleagues to support both prospective and current clients. This role emphasizes guiding customers technically through their purchase journey, responding accurately to product-related queries, RFPs, and security questionnaires, and demonstrating tailored solutions that integrate Notion with existing systems. You will also help gather structured feedback to enhance Notion’s offerings and facilitate educational content creation for sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams on customer engagements and technical consultations.
- Address complex product questions, including security and compliance documentation.
- Advise customers on the deployment and integration of Notion solutions.
- Develop custom demonstrations aligned with client workflows and third-party integrations.
- Collect and communicate product feedback to Product and Engineering departments.
- Partner with marketing to refine technical messaging and customer-facing materials.
- Educate the sales organization on the product roadmap, competitive landscape, and relevant technologies.
- Document technical insights and contribute to internal knowledge repositories.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in roles such as Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Proficient understanding of API usage to support sophisticated customer workflows.
- Experience integrating third-party platforms including IAM/SSO, DLP, or SIEM.
- Strong project management capabilities with a track record of driving projects to completion.
- Adaptability and a growth-oriented mindset, thriving in early-stage team environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience as an early team member at a high-growth startup.
- Familiarity with Notion as a user.
- Basic scripting skills to utilize the Notion API.
- Knowledge and experience designing and using relational databases.
Compensation
Notion offers a highly competitive annual compensation package estimated between €119,000 and €133,000 including base salary and performance incentives. Exact pay depends on factors like role complexity, location, and candidate experience.
