Snowflake Data Architect

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Architect to craft and deploy a comprehensive Data Quality and Data Governance framework tailored for Snowflake environments. This role involves using advanced Snowflake features combined with Cortex automation and intelligence to enhance data management standards across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an enterprise-wide Data Quality and Governance framework within Snowflake.
• Leverage Snowflake Horizon Catalog for metadata and data management.
• Utilize Cortex (CoCo) for intelligent automation and operational control.
• Integrate native Snowflake functionalities to support data governance.
• Develop and maintain a data catalog business glossary to standardize terminology.
• Manage KPI catalog encompassing 200 key performance indicators.
• Create and oversee a data quality framework that includes rules definition, scoring systems, and continuous monitoring.
• Implement tagging mechanisms, data masking policies, and personally identifiable information (PII) governance to ensure data security.
• Develop knowledge graph structures combined with Cortex-driven impact analysis capabilities.
• Build operational dashboards and set up alerting systems for real-time oversight.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven expertise in designing data quality and governance frameworks within Snowflake platforms.
• Experience working with Snowflake Horizon Catalog and Cortex automation tools.
• Strong understanding of data cataloging, KPI management, and data masking techniques.
• Knowledge of knowledge graph modeling and impact analysis methodologies.
• Ability to create operational dashboards and configure alerting mechanisms.
• Graduation in B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization is mandatory.
