About the Company
This opening is with Thermax’s Project and Energy Services (P&ES) O&M division. The business provides captive P&ES plants and cogeneration systems for industrial customers, along with independent P&ES plants for the utility sector on an EPC basis. Its offerings cover the full lifecycle, from plant setup to operations and maintenance support, including spares. The O&M team’s goal is to build a world-class service organization for P&ES plants and process equipment, with a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, safety, and compliance. Role Overview
The Senior Fitter will handle hands-on maintenance and operations work across mechanical and utility systems at the site in Tada. The position calls for a technically strong and proactive professional who can support plant reliability and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fault correction work and routine upkeep for boilers, chillers, air compressors, and WTP/ETP/RO plant operations.
- Execute mechanical maintenance activities to keep equipment running efficiently and reduce interruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in utility systems such as steam turbines, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
- Work with other teams to address complicated technical challenges and introduce preventive actions.
- Keep clear and complete records of maintenance work, repairs completed, and materials consumed.
Eligibility
Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering can apply.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is INR 3,00,000 to INR 5,00,000 per year.
