About the Company
This opening is with Thermax’s Project and Energy Services (P&ES) O&M division. The business provides captive P&ES plants and cogeneration systems for industrial customers, along with independent P&ES plants for the utility sector on an EPC basis. Its offerings cover the full lifecycle, from plant setup to operations and maintenance support, including spares. Role Overview
The Senior Fitter will handle hands-on maintenance and operations work across mechanical and utility systems at the site in Tada. The position calls for a technically strong and proactive professional who can support plant reliability and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fault correction work and routine upkeep for boilers, chillers, air compressors, and WTP/ETP/RO plant operations.
- Execute mechanical maintenance activities to keep equipment running efficiently and reduce interruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in utility systems such as steam turbines, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
- Work with other teams to address complicated technical challenges and introduce preventive actions.
- Keep clear and complete records of maintenance work, repairs completed, and materials consumed.
Eligibility
Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering can apply.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is INR 3,00,000 to INR 5,00,000 per year.
