Senior Associate / Assistant Manager - IT Systems

Overview

This position involves collaborating with internal teams and technology partners to identify needs, assess potential solutions, and oversee technology-driven transformation projects. You will support and enhance systems that improve airport services, retail functions, and the dining and shopping checkout experience at Changi Airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive insight into airport and commercial operations, including key parties, systems, and workflows.
• Work alongside vendors and stakeholders to develop, deploy, and maintain IT and cybersecurity solutions that align with contractual, operational, and security prerequisites.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators to track system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage projects and daily operational tasks to ensure IT solutions are delivered effectively and on schedule.
• Foster strong professional relationships with stakeholders and industry collaborators.
• Keep abreast of relevant industry trends and advise on potential impacts and necessary actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of IT industry experience in software development, technical troubleshooting, project management, or operational support.
• Experience working with retail or point-of-sale (POS) systems, lease management, digital display technologies, or content management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to evaluate solution designs, confirm technical feasibility, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security protocols.
• Good foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cloud computing platforms (such as AWS or Azure), and IT infrastructure including networking, servers, and databases.
• Project management certifications like PMP, Agile, or Scrum are a plus.
