Role Overview
The Senior Academic Counsellor position is a full-time, on-site role located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The incumbent will serve as a pivotal advisor to students and parents, aiding them in selecting academic paths that best align with students' educational ambitions and career goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized counselling sessions with students and parents to understand educational backgrounds and objectives.
- Recommend suitable Infinite Learn courses tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support families through the entire admissions process to facilitate smooth enrollment.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, academic, and student success teams to ensure a cohesive enrollment and post-enrollment experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems and follow up diligently with prospective students.
- Meet set enrollment targets while resolving any queries from parents promptly.
- Continuously improve the counselling experience by incorporating feedback and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in academic counselling, educational consulting, or EdTech sales is essential.
- Capable of accurately assessing student goals and recommending appropriate programs.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with strong presentation capabilities.
- Prior experience counselling for K–12, JEE, NEET, Foundation, or competitive examinations is highly advantageous.
- Proven record of achieving admissions or enrollment targets in a performance-driven setting.
- Strong interpersonal abilities characterized by empathy, active listening, and a learner-centered approach.
- Competence in managing multiple counselling sessions efficiently, CRM record maintenance, and delivering superior customer service.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any field; experience within the EdTech sector adds value.
Work Location
This role requires on-site presence at the Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh office.
