Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Sales & Storeperson to join a reputable and supportive team based in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. This full-time, onsite role offers a competitive hourly wage and stable Monday to Friday hours, with long-term employment prospects for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent retail sales and front-counter customer service
• Handle customer inquiries and manage phone orders efficiently
• Operate a forklift safely to move and manage stock
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
• Process invoices and perform basic computer tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and yard
• Ensure safe and efficient storage and movement of stock

Candidate Profile

• Possess a full clean New Zealand driver’s license including F endorsement
• Hold a current Occupational Safety and Health forklift license
• Have prior experience in retail, warehousing, or customer service roles
• Exhibit strong communication and customer service capabilities
• Demonstrate good computer literacy and keen attention to detail
• Be physically fit to handle manual tasks associated with the role
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Have dependable transportation and legal right to work in New Zealand

A current First Aid certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and medical examination prior to commencing employment.

Working Hours and Compensation

• Competitive pay at $28.95 per hour
• Consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm
• Immediate start available
